The JVF Development team is responsible for creating high-performing, high-converting websites that elevate our clients’ brands and deliver measurable business results.
As a participant in our internship, you will gain valuable work experience and make contributions through meaningful project work that supports our small business and non-profit clients. You’ll have numerous opportunities to attend trainings, networking events, and engagements with company and community leadership.
As a Web Design & Development Intern, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building high-performing websites for our clients using WordPress and cutting-edge tools.
- Testing websites for security and performance.
- Using Agile & Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects.
- Creating custom images using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and/or GIMP.
- Designing websites that display correctly on computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Applying technology and techniques to optimize website performance and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
To be successful in the role, you’ll need the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma.
- The ability and desire to learn technology.
- Familiarity with web platforms and graphic design tools (WordPress, Canva, Photoshop, etc…).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc…).
- A basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

About the JVF Internship Program
The JVF Internship Program lasts approximately 10 weeks. At the end of this program, you’ll have extensive working knowledge of Web Design and/or Digital Marketing. As a member of our team, you’ll have numerous opportunities for training, research, and to attend events.Most internships are unpaid, but we have a limited number of paid internships (3 per year) that are sponsored through other organizations.
Work location is at our Framingham office with some work performed at client sites within MetroWest. Please note that all internships are in person - we do not offer remote internships. Interns will be responsible for their own transportation to/from our office. Office attire is casual.
