Overview WordPress 6.9.4 is the third rapid‑fire release in just 24 hours, following the back‑to‑back rollout of versions 6.9.2 and 6.9.3 yesterday. While 6.9.2 attempted to patch ten security vulnerabilities, and 6.9.3 rushed in to fix a template‑loading bug introduced by that update, it became clear that not all security fixes were fully applied. That brings us to today’s release: WordPress 6.9.4, a security and maintenance release designed to finish the job and stabilize the platform after a turbulent 48 hours.
